This thesis mainly studies the cushioning and compressibility of warp knitted spacer fabrics, analyses the main factors that influence it, and creates finite model according to it. through simulating the compression properties of different structures, tries to find out the major factor of the impact space fabric mechanical amenity as liner material. Then obtains cushion, mattress material or cushioning packaging material with ideal mechanical from the design point of view according to use to develop fabric technology parameters. Finally sets up characterization methods in line with cushioning compressibility of warp knitted spacer fabric, to achieve the purpose of optimizing structure, saving the cost and scientific applications.Firstly, the paper sums up the raw material, equipment, manufacture technology including warping and weaving, the applications of spacer fabrics worldwide and points out its study meaning. Then the thesis studies the compression properties of warp knitted spacer fabrics, explaining the compression and cushioning properties package by experiments, summing up the main factors that influence the compression properties of warp knitted spacer fabrics.Secondly, the paper particularly studies the finite element mechanics model, carries out the rational hypothesis by analyzing fabric compression deformation, establish the finite element model by the software of ANSYS finite element method, and has carried out the simulated analysis on the model compressing deformation , finds out the deformed contour plot and strain curve, amend the model accuracy, make it more accurately characterization the structure and press deformation of the warp knitted spacer fabric.Thirdly, the paper makes a valuation of the spacer fabric'compressibility parameter based on the finite element model by changing the structure parameters of model, to obtain every corresponding structure parameter strain value under different strain condition. And it finds out the main factor of affecting the spacer fabric'compressibility by the difference and regression analysis of software SAS. Then establishs two characterization methods of tablet compression and spherical compression for spacer fabric.At last, according to the finite element model and the parameter valuation, together with the specific forces condition, the paper indicates the application of model in practice.All in all, the research of this thesis is novel. The study results can help people to improve the quality of warp knitted spacer fabrics, also it can contribute to the use of warp knitted spacer fabric to make cushioning package pad.
