Fuels are the basis of the national economy, with the social and economic development and the increasing dependence of citizens, Engine fuels are increasing demand. In the 2008 and 2009 international oil prices was more than 50 $and 147 $ in the wide shocks. China is poor country and reducing dependence on foreign oil is the main problem of the people's livelihood.In this experiment, diesel oil is based by adding anhydrous ethanol and peanut oil, and admixture oil is mixed by 50: 10: 8. In the experiment carried out the following:1 the preparation of the diesel ethanol peanut,2 the diesel ethanol peanut of physical properties of test,3 the diesel ethanol peanut of bench test,4 the diesel ethanol peanut of experimental load characteristics,5 the diesel ethanol peanut of smoke emissions from ethanol and exhaust component analysis.The results show that: the diesel ethanol peanut in -35℃and 80℃temperature did not appear stratification. The diesel ethanol peanut of viscosity (1.397) is below the diesel (1.66), the flash point (98.97℃) is higher than the diesel (58℃), the density (842.5kg / m3) is below the diesel (930 kg / m3), the burning point (114.73℃) is below the diesel(220℃). Therefore, the diesel ethanol peanut of the atomization compared to the diesel is good, has a short ignition delay period in the combustion process, has the full fuel combustion, in the maximum pressure during combustion speed is higher than the diesel, has a smooth combustion, CO and CH emissions reduced, NOx content increased.The diesel ethanol peanut in the ZH1100B diesel engines combust, when the advance angle is 16.8°(no pads), at high load conditions, the diesel ethanol peanut,the diesel peanut and the diesel of fuel consumption rate are not significantly change. In the small-load conditions, the diesel ethanol peanut and the diesel peanut of fuel consumption and the fuel consumption rate are higher than the diesel. When the advance angle is 13.3°, in the high load the diesel ethanol peanut,the diesel peanut, and the diesel of the fuel volume changes significantly, as the peanut and the ethanol contain the oxygen, burning the diesel ethanol peanut and the diesel peanut is good for the economy. The diesel ethanol peanut in the diesel engine is used; when the advance angle is 13.3°, the economy is better than advance angle( 16.8°).The emissions of the diesel ethanol peanut and the diesel peanut in the ZH1100B diesel engine are better than the diesel. For the ethanol and the peanut contain oxygen materials, burning fully, the opacity value and smoke are small. When the load is 6.5kW, the non-transparent is the largest. The diesel ethanol peanut is used, when the advance angle is 16.8°,the value of diesel PM emissions is better than the advance angle 13.3°.
