Dioctyl phthalata is a plasticizer for the production of PVC film,and the PVC film is applied for MA storage.Dioctyl phthalata cannot be degraded by light and water,and it is harmful to animals,plants and environment.Over the last decade,pollution of dioctyl phthalata has become a crucial subject in the world.In this paper,the food simulants recommended by European Commission were selected as the study objects.The effects of time,temperature and content of dioctyl phthalata on migration were studied in this paper.Moreover,the effects of dioctyl phthalata migration on mechanical properties for PVC film were studied.What is more,the effects of long-term exposure of dioctyl phthalata on physiology in apple and garlic sprout were studied.The results indicate as follows:Firstly,it need approximately 90 days before migration speed of dioctyl phthalata from PVC film reach bottom at 0℃,and need around 60 days at 10℃,need only roughly 45 days at 30℃.On one hand,dioctyl phthalata migration from NO.3 PVC film is larger than those from NO.1 PVC film,and migration from NO.2 is between the two above.On the other hand,dioctyl phthalata migration at 30℃is larger than those at 0℃,and the migration at 10℃between them..Furthermore,migration in acid and alcohol medium is much more than those in distilled water.With the migration of dioetyl phthalata,the intensity of PVC film rise from 16.53MPa to 22.1MPa,and the extensibility of PVC decrease from 409.05%to 318%,moisture permeability decrease from 89.5g/m2.dy to 41.3g/m2·dy,CO2 permeability decrease from 38144.7 cm3/m2·0.1Mpa·d to 20700.3cm3/m2·0.1 Mpa.d,and O2 permeability decrease from 14060cm3/m2·0.1Mpa·d to 7628.47cm3/m2·0.1Mpa.d.Secondly,brownness grade of apples intimidated in 0.05g/L and 0.5g/L DOP concentration raised by 10%and 30%respectively in 20 days,rigidity decrease by 1.98 kg/cm2 and 3.02kg/ cm2 respectively in 25 days,content of acid decrease by 0.136%and 0.24%respectively,MDA reached 2.63μmol/g and 3.21μmol/g respectively, and POD,PPO reach the activity peak roughly 5 days earlier.Garlic sprout's chlorophyll decrease roughly by half in long-term exposure in 0.5g/L DOP concentration,and garlic sprout's SOD show decrease around by half,stand in marked contrast to CK.
