Ethylene cracking furnace in type of USC-80U is a more extensively used tube cracking furnace designed by S-W company .This paper focuses on ethylene cracking furnace with theory of the petrochemical, computer and control, establishes a stringent mechanism model of making olefln utilizing naphtha. Particle Swarm Optimization based on simulated annealing algorithm is applied on this model. Main work as follows:Firstly, the paper introduces the main features of the USC-80U type ethylene cracking furnace and analyses its running process .Based on the law of the conservation of momentum, conservation of mass and energy conservation in the complex system including cracking furnace tubes and the radiation reaction chamber, the paper makes a detailed analysis of the mechanism, such as the reaction process, the heat transfer process and the process of coking and make a integrated model of the Cracking furnace of the entire cycle in consideration of the coking process. The molecular kinetic models chooses Kumar molecular kinetic models, whose first coefficient is adjusted by matlab optimization toolbox. The simulation results were analysed , including Parameters set out in the run with the run cycle time and the changes in length,which has a theoretical guide Significance to actual industrial production.Secondly, intelligent optimization PSO algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm are tested and analyzed. Considering cracking furnace practical optimization, objective optimization proposition is established for getting max-margin. Naphtha feed flow, the rate of dilution steam, the outlet temperature of cracked gas are the decision variable. The restrictions of practice are the constraints. Optimization calculation is operated by PSO algorithm based on simulated annealing algorithm, the optimization result is discussed.Thirdly, the paper make the deduced summary of USC-80U naphtha cracking furnace dynamic model, lay the foundation for researching dynamic simulation and online optimization in the future.
