The "Yinjiagou" pyvite of Henan "Jinyuan chenguang" chemical limited company is a large-scale ore of reserves exceeding 4800 million tons currently discovered. The maximum amounts of pit waste water and tailings reservoir waste water can reach 800 m3/h . The main component of pyvite is FeS2 and it has deoxidizing property. When it is exposed on air, water and bacteria, the acidic waste water generates(pH=3-5),which will seriously pollute the river and.environment.Based on the characteristics of high-level iron-acidic waste water from the "Yinjiagou" pit waste water and tailings reservoir waste water, the chemical matter of NaOH is adopted to adjust the PH value. Meanwhile, the solving medicament of polyacrylamide APAM-6060 and NPAM-7100 is chosen and the optimum chemicals-feeding quantity and coagulation technological conditions are confirmed, which is the foundation of the solving technology design of tailings reservoir waste water.By way of various type of experiments, the optimum amount of flocculating medicament are both 3-4mg/L for the pit waste water and tailings reservoir waste water. The optimum amounts of NaOH medicament are 160mg/L and 680mg/L respectively. The optimum amounts of GT value are both 8000-10000. The optimum low stirring speed of flocculating settling experiment for solving pit waste water is 80r/min. The optimum stirring time is 20min and the optimum sedimentation time is 20min. The optimum low stirring speed of flocculating settling experiment for solving tailings reservoir waste water is 80r/min and the optimum stirring time is 20min.Based on the experimental research, the removal rate of turbidity and iron are both forecasted using RBF Neural network. When SPREAD is 1.3, the mean square error of forecast is only 0.59%, which demonstrates that the proposed forecasting method is rational.The flocculating technology is designed for the tailings reservoir waste water. Firstly, NaOH is adopted to adjust the pH value and then the PAM is adopted. Taking the example of patent technology—Vertical-flow writhing effective flocculation desposite pool, the flocculating time is 9min.
