In this paper, for the sea wells feature such as, large gradient,and large liquid production, wide water content and large gas production, development of a new water detector equipment suitable for sea oil wells testing, It is based on coaxial phase water detector for the basic principle, and made a greater improvement, enhanced reliability, stability, and single equipment success rate of logging,causes the single instrument one time to go into a well can test the oil-producing and the water content accurate at each level, and can qualitative judge the gas production . Through the oil well dynamic monitor,can understand and know the offshore field development tendency promptly, In order to optimize the note to pick stable production measure and so on plan formulation as well as well fracturing and water shutoff formulations provides the reliable technical support.Because of the features oil well in the sea such as the larger oil, water and gas production and so on, it is much difficult to measure the oil production and water content, even more difficult to measure accurately. According to the actual problem, flow counter and water content meter of the coaxial line phase water detector are improved by the indoor experiments and field experiments to reach eventually the purpose of improving the improving the measure accuracy and oil recovery.It has been difficult for the common turbine flow meter to measure accurately the oil wells with larger liquid production. In addition, the impact of degassing may cause damage to turbine flow meter, so that the accuracy of the water content meter measure is affected. So a greater improvement is done based on the coaxial line water detector based on phase in the flow counter and the current-collecting device.The twin-turbo flow meter with large diameter and the special flow distribution technology are adopted in the part of the flow meter; the bubbling umbrella is adopted in the part of the current-collecting device. It shows that the equipment can measure the oil wells with larger liquid and gas production by the indoor experiment and filed test.Through the oil well testing on there platforms at sea, it concludes that the improved coaxial line phase water detector is able to apply in the oil wells test including the big gradient and even level well, much more liquid and gas production well. And it also measure accurately many kinds of effective parameters such as the flow capacity, the water content and so on, which is used to adjust reasonably the development program to make the oil wells in the normal or the best situation.
