The common study methods and its present condition of eccentric annulus flow in petroleum production are extensively investigated. The many kinds of prevalent general CFD are dentally introduced. The characteristics and Principle and application of the calculation of PHOENICS fluid calculation software are expounded. Through the simple simulation of the pipe and fluid in casing pipe, the accuracy of CFD, flow calculation software PHOENICS. Using Shapemaker-Geometry of Utilities in PHOENICS, the physical model of concentric and eccentric annuli is set up in 3-D Cartesian coordinate. By k-εturbulence model and wall function, numerical calculation of eccentric annulus flow is carried out for Newtonian fluid, power-law fluid and Bingham fluid. By the software of Sci,Origin and Photoshop, the data and pictures are made out and the velocity, pressure and turbulent kinetic energy distribution of eccentric annuli have been obtained. The effect of different flow rate, eccentric degrees, flow index, yield value and plastic viscosity on annulus flow field at different fluid properties is studied. Under the condition of Newtonian fluid, speed and eccentricity is analyzed; under the condition of power-law, eccentricity index and eccentricity are studied; under the condition of Bingham model, the effect of yield value, plastic viscosity on pressure and turbulent kinetic energy distribution of the eccentric annulus velocity flow field is carried out. The effect different parameters and fluids on eccentric annulus flow field are analyzed by charts and diagrams. Results could reflect the basic characteristics of eccentric annuli flow well.In this paper, PHOENICS CFD software is firstly used for numerical simulation calculation of annulus flow of Bingham fluid flow. Calculated results and literature data show that using PHOENICS software to calculate Bingham fluid annulus flow is feasible and the results is reliable. Through this thesis, today's popular eccentric annulus flow problems are better known. It have a practical significance for future work.
