Multiphase flow is an important research topic in the Oil industry.Most of oil and gas wells may occur gas-liquid or oil-gas-water multiphase flow.Multiphase flow occurs in the entire production system that the fluid flows from oil and gas reservoir to the ground facilities. Request to measure a number of multiphase flow parameters on the production process.The purpose of learning these parameters is better for the production of service.Gas-liquid two-phase flow in pipelines belongs to the scope of multiphase flow.Because of multiphase flow is very common in the modern industry and that is particularly modern oil industry, research on multiphase flow is great significance.According to collecting a few home and abroad multiphase flow reference materials,the paper deeply researches various of flow patterns characteristics and their characteristic parameters of multiphase flow,designing and building a multiphase flow experimental device and making supported data gathering software in the special laboratory of Daqing Petroleum Institute.Experimental pipelines upstream and downstream of experimental device are composed ofΦ60mm,Φ40mm andΦ20mm,the pipeline is made of organic glass material,the oblique angle of pipeline may be changed from negative 90 degree to 90 degree. The data gathering system can acquire signal of flow,pressure,pressure difference,the temperature and angular displacement,display obversion speed of gas and liquid in the pipeline and state of water level alarm of impounding reservoir.It can adjust unseal degree of control valve to control the flow of gas and liquid in the pipeline.The software and hardware of experimental device is well together,it makes the system accurately reflect the true characteristic of multiphase flow.The main work can be seen from the following:(1) Collecting the slug flow papers in the world.It summaries the research progress of flow type of multiphase flow,characteristic parameters and its measurement.An Experimental Data Acquisition System about Multiphase Flow is designed and setted up.(2) Referring to some experimental meter materials about pressure and pressure difference transmitter,flowmeter,electric control valve,temperature transmitter,angular displacement and level alarm,Operating principle of meters and attention to how to choose meters are introduced in the details.(3) Data gathering software is made by VB6.0 for experimental device of multiphase flow.The slug flow and waviness flow are made an experiment on data gathering system of multiphase flow for testing performance of system.Experimental meters were alone calibrated and kept in step with data gathering system to calibrate.The value of experimental meters were accurately acquired by data gathering software before experiment.Then,the slug flow and waviness flow were made an experiment on the device to take air and water as medium,basing on the analysis about the experiment result and the parameters of two kinds flow patterns,have verified that the experiment data collect system satisfied to the request of design,at the same time,the relationship of liquid plug velocity of slug flow,void fraction and conversion speed about gas phase and liquidoid,relationship of conversion speed about gas phase and liquidoid of wave flow and pressure difference,relationship of void fraction and phase specific speed are deduced.In short,all the result coincided with the multiphase flow theory.
