In this article, the nonionic surfactants alkanolamide were synthesized with myristic acid and caster oil and palmitic acid and diethanolamine. The experiments determined that mole ratio of reactant, catalyst amount and reaction temperature on effect of product quality. Used the methods mentioned in the following article and studied on the amine value to have synthesized myristic acid alkanolamide. Moreover interfacial tension between myristic acid alcohol amide and Daqing crude oil was determined.Experimental results show that the better reaction conditions of synthesis of myristic acid alkanolamide. were that the mole ratio of myristic acid and diethanolamine was 1.0:2.0, the reaction temperature was 135℃and the amount of potassium hydroxide of raw materials was 1.0%. The better reaction conditions of synthesis of oil-soluble caster oil alkanolamide were that the mole ratio of caster oil and diethanolamine was 1:2.6, the reaction temperature was 150℃, the amount of potassium hydroxide of raw materials was 0.5% and the amount of methanol of total amount of substance was 2.0%. The better reaction conditions of synthesis of palmitic acid alkanolamide were that the mole ratio of palmitic acid and diethanolamine was 1:1.66, the amount of potassium hydroxide of raw materials was 0.5%, the reaction temperature was 140℃and reaction time was 2h. In the above-mentioned conditions, amine value can be controlled within 10mgKOH/g or less.Alkanolamide synthesized in this article was a kind of nonionic type surfactant. Its synthetic process was simple. The product used widely and was suitable for high salinity flooding system. It is a worthy development of multi-functional nonionic surfactant.
