The software has been developed to calculate some key parameters of the transfer line. The nature of feed oil, the heat losses and the depth of the reaction can affect the software results; 11 sets data of delayed coking transfer line have been collected and have been analyzed in three parts: the heat loss analysis, the pressure drop and vaporization analysis and analysis of the reaction in pipe. The sealing steam, coke thickness, pipe fittings, the diameter of the main pipe and the length of the transfer line can affect the results of transfer line. This thesis has given the way for structural optimization–strength the heat preservation, optimize the diameter, decrease the use of the pipe fittings and shorten the transfer line. It has shorten the typical transfer line in the maximum way and enlarge the diameter, then got the distribution of the temperature, the pressure, the fraction of the vaporization, the velocity and cracking conversion fraction. The two-phase flow in the vertical tube is central mist flow type, in the horizontal tube is mist flow type. It provides a basis for structural optimization.This thesis has developed the simplified model for the stress analysis and gave a new way to compare the node stress-the key node stress way. It used the CaesarⅡstress software checking the reliability. The collected transfer lines have been calculated and get the rule of stress analysis; the typical transfer lines have been optimized after the process analysis and stress analysis.
