In order to apply the technology of plug removal by acoustic wave better in the process of oil produce, and resolve the problem about formation plug and permeability decrease due to high viscosity of crude oil and substantive sand production of layers, etc. A type of plug removal equipment by sounds– Jet acoustic generator was investigated.Beginning with mechanism study about generating sound waves of Jet acoustic generator, physical model of generating acoustic waves was established, in which distribution of liquid velocity and pressure was studied. Based on the simulating lab test, the relationship between wave parameters that are pressure amplitude and surge frequency and the influence factors such as nozzle diameter, trunk depth, spacing and so on was researched, and the key parameters to optimize Jet acoustic generator were found out. The depth of acoustic waves propagating was studied by comparing theoretical studies with experimental results. Reservoir simulation device was designed to simulate formation plug, as well, experimental study of plug removal by Jet acoustic generators was investigated, which had produced an obvious result. In addition, Acoustic Calculating Model of Jet acoustic generator was established by means of FEA software module named ANSYS/FLOTRAN, frequency response relationship of Jet acoustic generator in variety of parameter groups and in diffident rocks such as sandstone, pelyte and limestone, was simulated.The parameters of Jet acoustic generator were optimized, and optimal parameter groups were found out, finally Jet acoustic generators were applied in Gudao oil field successfully. The results showed that technical effective rate was reached up to 93%, daily fluid production rate increased by 25.75t, daily oil production rate increased by 10.27t, and the period of validity was more than one year, which proves that Jet acoustic generators has good application prospection.
