Pipeline transport is one of the five major transport industries as railways,highways,shi- pping,civil aviation and pipeline,which is more and more extensive in the use of the petrochemical industry.Pipeline takes on the transmission of substance such as high temperature,high pressure, flammable,explosive...and so on.Once it failured,it will cause serious consequences and great loss to the country and the people.In recent years,with the process of industrialization and the rate of urbanization accelerating,the number of pipeline is increasing at home and abroad.Especially the pipeline used for the transport of crude oil,natural gas and refined oil will have huge development in the future.Generally,pipeline also goes through densely populated areas,through tunnels,crosses obstacles…and so on.It is very difficult for these pipelines to construct,overhaul, detect the security status,but it will cause very serious consequences in the event of failure. In order to ensure the safe operation of pipelines and protect life and property of the people safe, we must focus on these special pipe sections for stress analysis and safety sdudy.The buried pipeline and crossing pipeline stress analysis were studied mainly by this paper.According to classification of stress,a variety of load short-cut method,internal pressure stress,thermal stress,external load stress…and so on were formulated.The ANSYS program was used as numerical simulation in stess and strain at loads,draw out the stress and strain distribution of these pipelines,and provided the design and construction bisis for these special pipielines.Secondly,the fault tree analysis methods were used for the safety studies of the whole gas pipeline,draw out the combinations of various factors that cause the pipielines to failure,failure probability,the importance of various factors when they cause the pipelines to failure,in crossing of qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and structural importance degree analysis,providing preventive measures for the safe operation of the pipeline.We grasped the method of stress analysis and safety studies of special pipelines of the pipeline through this study,it can be extended to other pipelines.
