China has become one of the few sewing machine production bases after several industrial transfers in these years. The development mode of domestic enterprises are transforming from imitating to independent development ,and the electromechanical integration sewing machine has become one hot issue.Industrial sewing machine is a kind of high speed precision machine, it's made up of four mechanisms ,the needle piercing mechanism ,the fabric feeding mechanism ,the bobbing mechanism and the take-up mechanism .Sewing is a complicated process by synchronized motion of the four parts . Dynamic simulation of the sewing machine was realized basing on the virtual prototype.Fabric feeding mechanism of the sewing machine was redesigned to complete the design of bar tacking machine .Then the stress of main shaft was analyzed and optimized basing on the virtual prototype.Position control algorithm of the main shaft was designed, and the linear interpolation algorithm was applied in the motors of fabric feeding mechanism. Methods to make the servo-motor return to zero was proposed and algorithm of three-axis collaboration was improved. These algorithms were realized through the software MATLAB/Simulink.The motion relationship of each part was designed, driving motors and electromagnets was chosen to satisfy performance requirements of the bar tacking machine . Co-simulation technology based on Multi-field was used to connect the mechanical part and control part to finish co-simulation of bar tacking machine. After the Parameters of motors and electromagnets was inputted to the virtual prototype. Then Motion control algorithm was optimized basing on this model.
