In this paper, Long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene composites (LGF/PP) were prepared using melt impregnation. Besides, dynamical curing Long glass fiber/epoxy/polypropylene composites (LGF/EP/PP) and Long glass fiber/CaSO4 whisker/polypropylene composites (LGF/CK/PP) were also prepared. The mechanics properties and the thermal properties were investigated. And the fractural surface morphological structure was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The LGF/PP blends were prepared using A-type long glass fiber and tensioning bar which developed independently. When the content of the modifier was 2% and speed of operation was 17m/min, the mechanics properties of LGF/PP were better and the appearance was in line with the requirement.The effect of molding methods on the mechanics properties and thermal properties were studied. The results indicate that the tensile strength was decreased but the flexural properties was increased as the content of glass fiber using compression molding, and the Vicat softening point of LGF/PP reached a maximum value for the GF content of 35%. However, using injection molding, the tensile strength and the flexural properties were increased as the content of glass fiber. The results of SEM showed the glass fiber distributed in the way of 3D cross structure in the matrix.Dynamical curing process was successful applied to Long glass fiber (LGF)/epoxy (EP)/polypropylene (PP)blends. The mechanical properties and thermal properties of dynamical curing LGF/EP/ PPwere studied. The results showed that the tensile strength and flexural strength reached a maximum value for the EP content of 4%.The flexural modulus increased with increasing epoxy resin content. The Vicat softening point of LGF/ PPdecreased by addition of Epoxy.Compared with the mechanics properties and thermal properties of LGF/PP, the mechanics properties and thermal properties of CaSO4 whisker and long glass fiber hybrid reinforced PP composites (LGF/CK/PP) is better. When the content of glass fiber in composites is 15%, the tensile strength, flexural strength, flexural modulus and the thermal properties were increased with increasing CaSO4 whisker content.
