The shape control problem of thin strip in cold rolling is complicated and difficult to solve. In this paper, selection of a factory unit 1420mm cold rolling roll parameters, application of Abaqus finite element software for cold-rolled thin strip numerical simulation process. Use Abaqus/Explicit Dynamic module analysis the strain and stress fields between strip and work roll, work roll and the middle roll, backup roll and middle roll. Mainly want to get the relationships between bending force and plate crown, bending force and plate wide. The research work of building rolling process FEM, as well as set up at the scene of the production set of bending force have great guiding significance.Through in-depth reading and analysis the study of history and current research situation in rolls elastic deformation. Make analysis and comparison to analytical method and numerical method these two main methods. Summed up the advantages and disadvantages, again for the main purpose of this article, I choose FEM of a numerical method to model for the analysis of bending force model.This article provides an overview of the basic theory of nonlinear finite element, introduce FEM software Abaqus. Commercial FEM software each has its own characteristics. By Ansys, Marc, and three Abaqus finite element analysis software, and the use of previous evaluation, this article discusses the reasons for selection of Abaqus.Predecessors roll elastic deformation of the finite element analysis used to base on Ansys, Marc, rarely use Abaqus, particularly modeling and analysis are many rollers. In this paper, the advantages of using this software, modeling six rolls system and calculation its elastic-plastic deformation, discusses the difficulties of modeling using Abaqus.Set up bending force in production process is based on the look-up table, while the table is also on the values obtained through the analytic method. However, due to a number of analytic methods makes the assumption that the results are not accurate. In response to this defect, through the characterize use of three-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element method can be more realistically simulate actual rolling conditions and obtain bending force under several rolling conditions. From above, I fit the relationship curves between bending force and plate crown. The relationship curves bending force and strip width is also fit. The author has done an analysis of the contact stresses distribution and the relationship between rolling force and bending force.
