This dissertation includes five chapters.Chapter one is mainly the development of Hartwig-Buchwald coupling reaction catalyzed by palladium;Chapter two is mainly the progress in Suzuki coupling reaction;Chapter three is the synthesis and photophysical properties of novel thiophenylacrylonitrile derivatives containing a triphenylamine moiety;Chapter four is the synthesis and photophysical properties of novel biphenyl containing a thiophenylacrylonitrile moiety;Chapter five is the synthesis of several organosilicon materials with amino group. In chapter one,we reviewed the progress of palladium-catalyzed Hartwig-Buchwald coupling reaction mainly from the reaction conditions and ligand. In chapter two,we made a review of the development of palladium-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction. In chapter three,we used the Pd(OAc)2/P(o-tolyl)3 system to promote the synthesis of novel thiophenylacrylonitrile derivatives containing a triphenylamine moiety, and we also studied their light emitting properties.Structures of products were characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR,13C NMR,MS and elemental analyses. The UV-vis absorption and photoluminescent(PL) spectra of the compounds in CH2Cl2 were investigated. In chapter four,we used the Pd(PPh3)4 to promote the synthesis of novel biphenyl containing a thiophenylacrylonitrile moiety, and we also studied their light emitting properties.Structures of products were characterized by FT-IR,1H NMR,13C NMR,MS and elemental analyses. The UV-vis absorption and photoluminescent(PL) spectra of the compounds were investigated. The fifth chapter detailed work related to the synthesis of several organosilicon materials with amino group.
