At the present time, there are a great deal of coal mine which has dust explosion and pneumoconiosis hazards that seriously threats to the safety production and personnel health in coal mine. As a basic procedure in coal mine, drilling is a major source of dust pollution. The thesis puts emphasis on controlling and managing the drilling dust, doing research on Hydraulic Rotation Jet Dust Catcher(HRJDC) with high ratio of water jet, and manufacture of the equipment. The HRJDC has simple structure, good safety performance and wide applicability.The thesis has several main contents: Study on dedusting mechanism of HRJDC; Take advantage of the theory in finite space jet, Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD), Ventilation and Dust Removal, mathematical statistics, study the basic principles of HRJDC, to determine the parameters and its scope of the experimental study; Analyze and summarize the results of experimental study and numerical simulation. The experiment study includes parameter optimization experiment and verification experiment. Parameter optimization experiment analyze the influence of relevant factor such as different hydraulic pressure, different distance between larynx-tube and nozzle, different structure of absorbing dust catcher of suction performance and dust-catch efficiency. Verification experiment analyze the result of dedusting mechanism of HRJDC, numerical simulation of CFD, movement of water swirl and distribution of jet flow field. The methods used in this thesis include lab experiment, numerical simulation experiment and industrial experiment in practice. Experiment on making of different model of water-inhale dust tube, foundation of experimental and testing system, measuration and analysis of experiment data and so on. Use vertical method in order to ensure the best experiment scheme and ascertain the optimum structural sizes of HRJDC. Use curve fitting method to determine the influence of different dust suction hood to the dust-catch efficiency and find out the best method of control and management of drill dust. Numerical simulation experiment is mainly about the coal dust reduction of HRJDC, the result of numerical simulation indicates that HRJDC has a good performance on coal dust control and high efficiency in dedusting, improves the safety status in mine industry. The problem of coal dust is solved effectively by installing HRJDC and collocation facilities with the drilling machine in air opening of fully-mechanized coal face, the result of industrial experiment proves HRJDC to be worthy of economy and society.In a word, the results that come from numerical experiment, lab experiment and industrial experiment indicate that it is safe and efficient to control coal dust of air opening of fully-mechanized coal face when drilling.
