Domestic and overseas scholars have done a lot of research work in pumping well dynamometer simulation as well as dynamic simulation of pumping wells based on it. At present, pumping wells dynamic simulation technology, based on the measured dynamometer card is mainly used for pump condition diagnosis and crank torque calculation, not used in simulation of dynamic parameters of pumping wells yet. In addition, there are shortcomings in the simulation model of dynamic parameters, including surface drive and transmission system, as well as mass production and the node power simulation model based on measured dynamometer card. In this paper, the dynamic simulation model of pumping wells based on indicator card is established by improving and perfecting simulation unit of rod pumped well. Main results of the research include:(1)The simulation model of crank motion based on measured surface dynamometer card was set up. The shortcomings existing in simulation of the crank motion law based on rigid rotor dynamics, which because the mechanical characteristic curve of motor are difficult to accurately simulate, were avoided.(2)Considering the inertia and friction of pumping reversing arrangement, the current simulation models were established to describe binding force, crank torque and transmission efficiency of changement. The factors affecting the crank torque and transmission efficiency, including friction coefficient and institutional inertia, were analyzed.(3)Taking into account the flexibility of belt transmission parts and torque fluctuation of pumping unit, the simulation model of longitudinal vibration and belt-driven transient efficiency were established.(4)Using wave equation, measured indicator diagram was transformed into pump dynamometer. Simulation models for effective power and mass production were set up based on pump dynamometer and multiphase flow theory.(5)Based on the Visual Basic 6.0, the software called Dynamic Simulation of Rod Pumped Well Based on Observed Surface Dynamometer Card is developed.
