In this thesis, an important precursor,3,6-bis(3,5-dimethyl pyrazole)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine, was synthesized, using guanidine nitrate and hydrazine as the raw materials. Experimental conditions, such as molar ratio of reactants, temperature, type and amout of catalyst, were investigated and discussed.The paper was also related to the synthesis of a typical high nitrogen compound called BTATz,3,6-bis(1H-1,2,3,4-tetrazol-5-yl-amino)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine. Nitration agents, time and temperature were studied for a new compoud, designed to optimize the performance of BTATz.This thesis also involved in the synthesis of another two active intermediates for tetrazine compounds,3,6-dihydrazino-1,2,4,5-tetrazine and 3,6-dichloro-1,2,4,5-tetrazine, building the foundation for further research of tetrazine.
