A great quantity of sewage is discharged by total drained system of Bao Gang everyday. It is worth to reuse it as production water, and use of membrane technology to treat wastewater. Membrane fouling is one of big problem in the application of membrane technology. In order to keep the long-term and stable run effect of membrane parts, it's necessary to analyze the quality of wastewater. At the same time, acceptable pretreatment technology was made. The pretreatment experiment study of reverse osmosis membrane for wastewater in total drainage treatment of Bao Gang was systematically studied in the paper.In this paper, the quality of wastewater was analyzed. Based on the results of water quality analysis, total drained system of Bao Gang has a high level of suspended substance,Turbidity;COD,Fe were over-proof. Therefore, DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation)-DM (Dual-media filter)-AC (Activated Carbon filter)-UF (Ultra-filtration) was adopted to treat the wastewater. This paper initially on the Dissolved Air Flotation System, test results show that the optimal condition is coagulant PAC dosages=40mg/L, recycle flow ratio=10%, dissolved-air pressure=0.35MPa. Secondly, through the pre-treatment trial were studied to determine the filtration media technology for the quartz sand and anthracite filtration rate of 4.8 m/s, anti-wash intensity of 14L/s·m2, which test a single-layer quartz sand filter and anthracite-quartz sand in two double-filtration pre-treatment methods on the basis of an optimization program. Third, general pretreatment process and UF's hybrid processes were studied. The removals of case about turbidity, COD, Fe were monitored, obtained the best reverse osmosis membrane pretreatment process. Pretreatment for each SDI value of the water were monitored to ensure that meet the requirements of reverse osmosis water. Through the test provided for engineering design of process parameters.It is proved that DAF-DM-UF-AC is the best pretreatment. In this operating and test conditions, the average COD of effluent was 5.19mg/L, the proportion of removal was 91%; the average Fe of effluent was 0.042 mg/L, the proportion of removal was 95.9%; the average turbidity of effluent was 0.33 NTU, the proportion of removal was 98.8%; the average SDI of effluent was 1.42. The effluent water examined by the apparatus reached the RO standards. It has practical significance to protect RO membrane of the long-term safe operation.
