Electrospinning technology is a competing study.Since 2002,more thesis are reported about electrospinning,however,reports about preparation of multiple oxides by electro-spinning are relatively small.In this paper,ferroelectric PZT fibers, TiO2-ZnO semiconductor composite fibers and YIG magneto-optical fibers are prepared by sol-gel method and electrospinning to study the application of electrospinning method in multi-Oxide Fiber Preparation.First of all,in this paper,we systematically studied various factors during the electrospinning,such as organic s concentration,fluid flow rate,voltage and the distance between pole and the plate,etc.,on the diameter and morphology of fibers during preparation of complex oxide fibers.From the study we foundthat,the diameter of fibers grows when voltage and flow rate increases.When the distance between the top and the plate increases,the diameter of fibers becomes thinner.Still, changes of PVP concentration affect the fiber morphology.Sol-gel method was applied to prepare the precursor slolution with a certain viscosity using polymer(PVP) and inorganic salts,and the electrospingning was used to fabricate PZT fibers,TiO2-ZnO composite fibers and YIG fibers.Differential thermal analysis,scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and hysteresis loops are used to characterize fibers we fabricated.We discussed the the affect of changes of heat treatment temperatures,as well as Zr/Ti ratio on fiber properties.From the experiments,we can see that,compared with those before heat treatment,fibers,after heat treatment,are shorter,their diameters become smaller,and the surface becomes rough as a result of the apprearance of the orfices.As the heat treated temperature rises,fibers are shorter, and the diameter is smaller.At 700℃,we get typical perovskite structure.Among PZT(52/48) fibers heat treated at different temperatures,fibers heat treated at 600℃possess the best ferroelectric properties.PZT(52/48) fibers are the best compared with other PZT fibers with different Zr/Ti ratios. We discusse d changes of the Ti/Zn ratio on fiber properties.From the experiments, we can see that,compared with those before heat treatment,fibers,after heat treatment,are shorter,their diameters become smaller,and the surface becomes rough as a result of the apprearance of orfices.TiO2 exists as anatase,with lettle small rutile.The ZnO is typical wurtzite structure.As TiO2:ZnO ratio is 1:1 or 1:3,there is a new Zn2TiO4 structure.Affect of changes of the heat treatment temperature on the fiber performance was studied.From the experiments,we can see that,compared with those before heat treatment,fibers,after heat treatment,are shorter,their diameters become smaller, and the surface becomes rough as a result of the apprearance of orfices.As the heat treated temperature rises,fibers are shorter,and the diameter is smaller.At 800℃,we get typical garnet structure,with little YIP and Fe2O3.Experimental results show that,electro-spinning is a new way for the preparation of multi-oxide fibers.
