【Objective】Under simulated sunlight aging,study the fading process of different concentrations of cadmium red oil paint colored facial prosthesis silicone rubber and different concentrations,different thickness of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 film effect color stability of cadmium red oil paint coloring facial prosthesis silicone rubber.【Materials and Methods】Experiment 1:The Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2(0.2%) as a masking agent,different concentrations of cadmium red oil paint(0.05%,0.1%,0.2%, 0.4%) and MDX4-4210 RTV silicone rubber mixture,made of four groups of specimens,each 10,a total of 40 specimens.Complete specimens,the measured spectral data of the original sample,and export the L* a* b* values.Then place the specimen under simulated sunlight aging bulb,a distance of 50cm,light 17.14 hours, the equivalent of 200 hours of sunshine at noon(3 minutes is equivalent to noon daylight simulation sunshine 35 minutes),measured the spectral data samples derived L*a*b* values,and calculate△E,△L,△a,△b value.And then placed the specimen under simulated sunlight irradiation 17.14 hours lamp aging,and then measuring export L* a* b* values,and so repeated five times.Experiment2:The high concentration(0.4%),cadmium red oil paint color MDX4-4210 RTV silicone rubber main seal thickness(1mm),different concentrations(0,0.05%,0.1%,0.2%) Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2silicone rubber film,a total of four groups of specimens,each 5,a total of 20 specimens.Aging in simulated sunlight conditions,the measurement compared before and after aging L* a* b* values,and calculate△E,△L,△a,△b value,observed the same thickness of silicone rubber film with different concentrations of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 on the color stability of silicone rubber. Experiment 3:The high concentration(0.4%),cadmium red oil paint color MDX4-4210 RTV silicone rubber stamped the concentration(0.1%),different thickness(0,0.5 mm,1mm) Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 silicone rubber film,a total of 3 groups of specimens,each 5,a total of 15 specimens.Aging in simulated sunlight conditions,the measurement compared before and after aging L* a* b* values,and calculate△E,△L,△a,△b value,observed the same concentration of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 with different thickness of silicone rubber film on the color stability of silicone rubber.【Results】Experiment 1:Aging in simulated sunlight conditions,the four different concentrations of cadmium red oil paint colored silicone rubber△E,△L,△a,△b mainly concentrated in the early days,after the variation decreases.△E with the increase of the concentration gradually decreased,0.4%in group one final variation of the minimum,0.05%change in the largest;△L increase with the concentration gradually decreased,in addition to 0.4%in group final lightness difference△L is positive,that is brighter,the other three kinds of simulated sunlight concentration of silicone rubber after aging△L are negative,that is,brightness dimming,which the largest amount of 0.05%change;△a with the concentrationincreased gradually increase,four concentrations of silicone rubber after aging△a simulated sunlight are all negative,that is,lighter red.In which the changes were 0.4%of the maximum, minimum change of 0.05%;△b increase with the concentration gradually decreased, in addition to 0.4%after aging group△b is negative,that is lighter yellow,and the variation become larger,which changeis the fifth largest.The concentration of the remaining three kinds of silicone rubber after aging△b simulated sunlight are all positive after,the overall trend of the yellow,which turn yellow in the level of 0.05% the worst.Experiment 2:Simulated sunlight aging conditions,the same thickness (1mm),four kinds of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 concentration(0,0.05%,0.1%,0.15%) specimens,△E,△L,△a,△b with Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 concentration decreased to 0.1%and reached the minimum,then increased to 0.15%group gradually increased.That is,△E,△L,△a,△b with Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 concentration first decreased,then increased.One in four concentrations of 0.1%in group△E,△L,△a,△b minimum.Experiment 3:The same concentration of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 (0.1%),different thickness(0,0.5 mm,1mm) covering film specimens,△E,△a decrease with△E,△a thickness increase,the total color difference,the red fading decrease.One in three covering film thickness of the group is not covering film group△E,△a maximum,1mm covering film group△E,△a minimum;and△L,△b increases with the increase of the thickness,that is the degree of dimming,yellowing gradually increased.【Conclusion】Cadmium red oil paint colored silicone rubber as the sunlight simulation time gradually faded,and the most significant is the early changes, increase in the concentration of cadmium red oil paint,reduce the color change, playing against the role of simulated sunlight faded;the surface of the same pigment concentration main body stamp different concentrations of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 silicone rubber films play a protective effect of color,of which the best concentration is 0.1%;the surface of the same pigment concentration main body stamp same concentrations of Si-Al-coated nano-TiO2 silicone rubber films,as the thickness increases,increased fade resistance.This experiment confirmed that through high pigment concentration of the main silicon rubber stamped a certain thickness,a certain concentration of silicone rubber film to weaken the silicone rubber prosthesis fading is feasible.
