In this essay, the water condition in 2009 in the XD water supply plant and the ML Bay waters along the Tai Lake was monitored and analyzed continuously, and a prewarning system of odorous compounds for the source water of Tai Lake was established The HS-SPME-GC/MS method was used to quantitative analyze the odorous compounds such as DMS, DMDS, DMTS, MIB, Geosmin,β-cyclocitral,β-Ionone,α-cedrol, m-xylene, etc.. Also the changing points of each odorous compound respectively in the whole year of 2009 were concluded. Meanwhile, the study adopted Sensory-GC method to get the odor character of each odorous compound and set up an odor analysis group which had a strong ability of FPA analysis, and used the improved FPA to draw a Weber-Fechner curve for the odorous compounds, and to analyze each water sample. It is found that the MIB, DMS andβ-cyclocitral is comparatively better for organoleptic analysis during the modal analysis of the water samples from the Tai Lake. The stepwise regression was adopted to analyze the changing situation of the odorous compounds and the Chla value in the water sample. The monitor model for the odorous compounds and the stepwise regression was established. It's discovered that when the abnormal increase of the concentration of m-xylene, DMDS, or the abnormal decrease of the concentration of DMS or a-cedrol appeared, the algae would grow exceedingly and abnormally.During the polder experiment in the area of XD water supply plant, it was found that when the concentration of algae was on a high level, theβ-Ionone and MIB in the odorous compounds could well indicate the change of the concentration of algae. When the concentration of P-Ionone and MIB changed, the algae may grow abnormal, even lead to the eruption.According to monitor model of odorous compounds, the DMS, DMDS, m-xylene,β-Ionone andα-cedrol were defined as the key monitor factors in the prewarning system of odorous compounds in Tai lake water area. The concentration of DMS which would start the prewarning should be 21071.82ng/L. As forβ-Ionone, this value should be 1711.23ng/L, and for a-cedrol, the value should be 437.37ng/L. Based on these data, the determine system of the odorous compounds'prewarning was fixed, together with the data processing system, which was established using Microsoft Visual Studio 8.0 and carried out the analysis and record of the water sample, the complete prewarming system of odorous compounds was finally established.
