This dissertation is intended to establish an effective way of ecological security indicator system of lakes, analyses the representative of the system indicators, dimension and stability of the lake for ecological safety evaluation work. The significance is that indicator system of ecological security assessment on lake basin will be the foundation and necessary condition for the ecological security assessment and warning of lake basin.Based on the summary of present situation in the ecological security assessment, it puts forward the problems in the ecological security assessment in China. And based on the theoretic analysis and consultation, by means of model "pressure-state-response" (PSR) an indicators system of ecological security assessment on lake basin is set up and four layers of target layer, rule layer, factor layer and specific indicators layer are established. Made use of Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analyzes specific indicators included in ecological security assessment on Lake Basin. Applied on classical similar dimension theory, the representative indicators of ecological security assessment on lake basin has been choices, which are land use type and soil erosion level. As Dian-chi lake basin an example, in the shape of dimension "D" and stability "S", this article analyzed the space distribution characters of those two items which may reflect on the ecological security conditions of lake basin effectively.
