Hoist is one of the main means for transport materials and personnel of underground mining operations, it is known as mine throat. Whether the mine hoist can move safely influences the productivity and personnels' safety in the coal mine. As an important part of multi-rope friction hoist, steel rope is the key to the safe operation of all the equipments.If the stress are unbalance on the steel rope, The pad wear is grave and the life of steel rope will be reduction, and at the same time heavy accident like the hoisting container incline, the spring collet and so on can be createed even. Therefore, it has great practical significance to research the steel wire rope tension examination system.However, the monitoring of multi rope rope tension imbalance monitoring is still relatively vague and confusing for mining, the methods used are not standardized,the formulas used in such problems are inaccurate. Comprehensive analyzed the topic related with the steel wire rope tension examination technology and its method's research tendency domestic and foreign, combined with the current mine detection used in the actual situation of tension difference, a steel wire rope tension test method based on vibrational wave method is designed to the multi-rope hoist.Comprehensive analysis the problem of low precision of the tension measurement of mine hoist wire-rope with the vibration echo method, a solution that a system with a microcontroller and sensors was proposed. The system inherit the advantage of the convenience of the vibration echo method,and it can accurately measure the cycle of vibration echo, the accuracy of measurement is more improved; Meantime, it can automatically calculate the wire tension and tension difference,besides the measurement results can be displayed on the LCD module and exported from the flash disk. In this way the vibration echo method will be more convenient.This article describes the measurement system hardware and software design, And function of each module and the design described in detail. Finally, the inadequacies of the system are summarized. And further research directions are given.
