Carbonyl sulfide is one of the main form of organic sulfur in the chemical raw material gas based on coal or oil as raw material. Its existence would lead to severe catalyst poisoning in follow-up process, decline the quality of chemical products, and cause equipment corrosion, so it is necessary to remove carbonyl sulfide from feed gas. The hydrolysis of carbonyl sulfide under moderate temperature with the advantage of process matching, energy matching, is given special attention. Preparation of hydrolysis catalysts,reaction kinetics and mechanism of COS hydrolysis palys an important role in industrial application. However,these studies were only in a single atomosphere or reaction itself ,it was little involved on complex industry atomosphere. Emergence of industrial application is far below the results of laboratory results. So it has practical value and significance to study the activity of carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis at complex atmosphere under moderate temperature.The catalyst for carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis usedγ-Al2O3 as a carrier, added content of TiO2 as the modifying agent and pore-making agents, derived by dry mix method after drying,calcination.It was investigated the possibility of carbonyl sulfide hydrogenolysis and hydrolysis activity of catalyst under simulation of gas in fixed bad reactor. And then focus on the influence law of hydrogen,carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide,water vapor content and temperature under complex atmosphere. The impact of various factors on carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis activity is as follows: temperature increase, COS hydrolysis activity increased; COS concentration increase; The hydrolysis activity no significant change .CO,CO2 volume fraction increase,COS hydrolysis activity declined; water vapor content increase, COS hydrolysis activity first increase and then decreased.best value appears.In order to study the impact of composition of complex atmosphere on COS hydrolysis activity This paper aslo studied.the orthogonal test of operating conditions and gas composition. The results indicated that: under the selected level of orthogonal :Space velocity of 60000,temperature of 200~400℃,COS concentration of 200~1000 mg/m3,CO volume fration 6~30%,CO2 volume fration 4~20%,H2 volume fration 8~40%,water vapor to steam ratio of 30~600,The evaluation results showed that from the range analysis ,impact of water vapor and temperatureon hydrolysis activity is obvious.It was analyed the influence of different factors adsorption on COS hydrolysis activity with TPD and FT-IR. The results revealed that the hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide only formed simple physical adsorption on the surface of catalyst. no new functional group formation.Phase had no change before and after reaction on the catalyst.
