A series of special structures of supramolecular compounds were obtained by self-assembling of carbazole derivatives and transition metal. Main research results obtained were concluded as follows:1. The recent developments in the research for heterocyclic triazole complexes were reviewed and the idea of designing of this dissertation was put forward based on related literatures.2. Two new compounds,3,6-bis(1,2,4-triazole-1-yl)-ethylcarbazole(L') and 3, 6-bis(1,2,4-triazole-1-yl)-hexylcarbazole (L2) were synthesized. The structures were characterized by 1HNMR, IR, MS, elemental analyses and single X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal structure analysis showed that the ligands L1 and L2 belong to the triclinic system, the hydrogen bond play the key role in adjacent stacked molecules.3. A series of novel structures of supramolecular compounds were obtained by self-assembling of L1, L2 and transition metal. The crystal structures showed that they possess double-helical, "W" and so on, and their structures were characterized by IR, elemental analyses and single X-ray diffraction analysis. Weak interactions, includingπ-πinteractions, M…X bonds and C-H…X play significant roles in the final crystal structures. Meanwhile, relationship of anion and weak interactions of double-helical was calculated by the density functional theory (DFT).4. A systemic investigation on the properties of the ligands and complexes were carried out, such as UV-Vis, SPEF, Photoluminescence and TGA.
