Now many flame retardant in the market are environmentally unfriendly and have poor durability. In this paper, a new environmental intumescent flame retardant and blocked isocyanate cross-linker were prepared, and they were applied to bamboo viscose fabric with durable flame retardant finishing.(1)A new intumescent flame retardant was prepared with pentaerythritol, phosphorus oxychloride and diethylene triamine as monomers, and an isocyanate cross-linker was prepared with toluene di-isocyanate, dihydroxymethyl monoprop, sodium bisulfite and triethylamine as monomers and with dibutyltin dilaurate as catalyst.(2)The configuration and properties of the intumescent flame retardant and blocked isocyanate isocyanate cross-linker were characterized by FTIR, TG-DTA, TG-DSC, SEM, Particle Size Analysis, TEM, Zeta electric potential and X - RD.(3)The best synthesis process of intumescent flame was got by optimizing the synthesis process. The synthesis process of intermediate spirocyclic phosphate di-acyl chloride(SPDA) was:molar ratio of the phosphorus oxychloride and pentaerythritol was 6:1, reacted 1 hour in 65℃and under reflux 10 hour in 110℃, The synthesis process of product spirocyclic phosphate di-amide(SPDA) was: the molar ratio of SPDAC and Diethylenetriamine was 1:1.1, reaction temperature was 40℃and reaction time was 2.5 hour, deposited acid agent was triethylamine. The synthesis process of blocked isocyanate isocyanate cross-linker was: the synthesis process of Prepolymer DTD: the reaction temperature was 80~90℃, reaction time was 4~5h, the dosage of catalyst was 3% of the monomer; the synthesis process of blocking prepolymer reaction: reaction temperature was about 3℃, reaction time was 2.5h, the mass fraction of NaHSO3 was 18% , the usage of ethanol was 40% relative to the volume fraction of water; the synthesis process of target product BDTDT was: neutralized the blocked prepolymer with triethylamine and adjusted pH to 7 ~ 8. The performance of intumescent flame retardant was well, when combusting there was no toxic gas released;the particle size of blocked isocyanate isocyanate was small and its emulsion stability was good, re-opened and then cross-linked can occur at lower temperatures, its cross-linking effect was good.(4)The application of the intumescent flame retardant and blocked isocyanate isocyanate cross-linker on bamboo viscose fabric was discussed, the experimental results showed that when the dosages of flame retardant was 300g/L, the dosages of blocked isocyanate isocyanate cross-linker was 150g/L, the cure temperature was 120℃, the cure time was 3min, fire-retardant of the treated fabric and its durability was well.(5)With campering the before and after the performance of flame-retardant finishing treated bamboo viscose fabric, we known: when the intumescent flame retardant used in fire proofing finishing of bamboo viscose fabric, flame-retardant effect was significant, the durability of fire proofing after 10 times washing holding well, and breaking strength, whiteness and handle decline slightly .
