PDC bit (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact Bit) is a new type of drilling tool with the development of PDC composite materials. PDC was studied abroad began in mid-seventies last century, put into use in early eighties, it has now become an important tool for oil and gas drilling. Through the database, the current research on the PDC reaming bit in China is relatively less. With the continuous development of Daqing oil field, there is still large number of reservoir, if continue to develop oil resources in the old inoue for deep drilling, would significantly reduce drilling costs, so the development of reaming drill bit technology is particularly important. Compared with physical bit, the structure of reaming drill bit is complex and low reliability,which will result in significant property damage in the event of failure.Carrying out theoretical research on reaming drill bit, proposing reasonable structure of bit, calculating the design parameters of bit, which has certain engineering application value.Aiming at the current problem of reaming drill bit, this paper referred to the relevant provisions of the manual drilling, combined with the existing design methods and the specific geological conditions of Daqing oil field, proposed PDC reaming drill bit suitable for slimhole, and studied hydraulic parameters of reaming drill bit, while analyzing mud flow field in bottom hole. Major studies in this paper are as follows:1.Designed drilling reaming of PDC bits suitable for slim hole, which has the merits such as the drill diameter retains effective, strong rock breaking ability, and longer working life of the tool.2.Based on the designed bit, ontology analysis on PDC reaming drill bit using SolidWorks software, the results meet the stiffness and strength.3.Produced hydraulic parameter calculation program for PDC reaming bit, which includes data input subroutine, select subroutine nozzle type, bit hydraulic output subroutines and so on. The results show that mechanical calculations meet the basic needs of hydraulic calculation.4.Simulated flow field of the mai drill by aplying computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT, then analyzed flow field pressure, velocity of PDC reaming bit down the hole, which provided a theoretical basis for the design of PDC reaming bit.
