Experimental Study On Chemical Cleaning Of Shell And Tube Crude Oil Heat Exchanger

As widely used in petroleum chemical industry, the scaling problem of shell and tube heat exchanger is more and more concerned by people. With the oil field deep exploitation and polymer flooding technology wide application, petroleum quality is gradually changed recently, which results in the scaling phenomenon of shell and tube crude oil heat exchanger more and more serious, and affects the equipment's normal running and economic benefit.According to the scaling situation of shell and tube crude oil heat exchanger in Daqing oilfield, this paper makes the chemical cleaning experimental study. The scaling mechanism of crude oil heat exchanger and the descaling mechanism of chemical cleaning agent are analyzed, the grease stain of crude oil heat exchanger is sampled and analyzed. According to the components of grease stain, water-based cleaning agent is choosed, which based surfactant as main agent, based alkaline substance and suspending agent as promoter, and the reagents are primary selected. The development scheme of grease stain cleaning agent is made, and the formulation of grease stain cleaning agent was determined by measuring the dissolving scale ability, the suspending ability and the corrosion of single dose and complex formulation. At the same time, the impact of temperature on the cleaning agent's dissolving scale ability was investigated. According to the actual operation situation of a crude stabilizer in Daqing oilfield, a scheme of online cycle-cleaning is proposed and used in the cleaning of heat exchanger. After cleaned, the scaling phenomenon of bundle had been basically cleared, and the heat transfer coefficient of heat exchanger was significantly improved. All of them confirmed that the grease stain cleaning agent is high efficient and the cleaning scheme is convenient. Grease stain cleaning agent and cleaning scheme can be popularized and applied in the chemical cleaning of crude oil heat exchanger.
