In this paper, the goal blocks for the study area are Block A and B two typical blocks in the north Daan, a low-permeability oil field. Based on the existing wells'geologic information, the feasibility study and well pattern optimizing were launched out with the tool of numerical simulation. Through PETREL 3-D geological modeling software, the structural model and property models within porosity, permeability, oil saturation and etc are established. With the help of ECLIPSE numeral simulation software, the water flooding development index are matched. The well pattern study was carried on in Block A and B and the different well pattern programs were put forward after the history matching met the accuracy demand. The best development program was confirmed according to analyzing and comparing the development effects from numeral simulation. During the study of this paper, by the application of the start pressure gradient experience formula which is suitable for low-permeability oilfields in Jilin, the reasonable distance between the producing row and the injection row. At the same time, Tong's plate method was used for developing evaluation and oil recovery rate determination of producing areas in Block A and B. And the production limit was got under various oil prices and net pay thicknesses with the economic evaluation method. All the study fruits would be a significant guidance for development of Block A and B in Daan Oilfield.
