| Because of their excellent soft magnetic properties,soft magnetic amorphous alloys is concerned in sensitive areas of functional materials. They were divided into four groups:Fe-based amorphous alloy,Fe-Ni based amorphous alloy,Co-based amorphous alloy and the Fe-based amorphous-nanocrystalline alloys. Fe-Ni based amorphous alloy due to its low saturation magnetization effects,smaller applications. Combined with previous findings,add metalloid element instead of the traditional elements of glass forming ability of metal to the amorphous system,can enhance the glass forming ability,but also strengthen the intensity of the saturation effect is not large.In this paper,Fe-Ni based amorphous system as the research base,add B, C and Si 3 kinds of metalloid elements to replace the traditional metal ones,increasing the unit mass of ferromagnetic volume fraction of metallic elements,to find a the same time have high saturation magnetization and low coercivity amorphous system,and through horizontal and vertical contrast,exploring the non-metallic elements on glass forming ability and magnetic properties.Using melt-spin method to prepare as-quenched alloy samples with ingredients Fe40Ni40B20-xSix(x=2-8),Fe40Ni40C20-xSix(x=2-8) and Fe40Ni40C20-xBx(x=4-12).Using X-ray diffraction (XRD),differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) to measure the samples composition,glass forming ability and magnetic properties. XRD results show that the prepared Fe40Ni40B20-xSix (x=2,4,5,6,8), Fe40Ni40C4+xSi16-x(x=2,4,6,8,10) and Fe40Ni40B4+xC16-x (x=2, 4,6,8,10) as-quenched samples are amorphous. DSC results show that Fe40Ni40Bi4Si6,Fe40Ni40Ci5Si5 and Fe40Ni40C12B8 alloys have the best glass forming ability in their systems,super-cooled liquid region of their glass transition temperatureΔTx about Trg are 49K,60K,18K and 0.61,0.59,0.52.VSM results show that all samples show soft magnetic properties at room temperature,which Fe40Ni40C15Si5 and Fe40Ni40C12B8 alloys have the best soft magnetic properties in their systems, their saturation magnetization Bs and coercivity Hc are 106.5Am2/Kg,102.2 Am2/Kg,98.48 Am2/Kg and 0.039A/m,0.051A/m,0.075 A/m.Amorphous ribbon samples below the Tg(glass transition temperature),higher than the Tg, and higher than the Tx(crystallization temperature)treatment,the annealed 1h study,metalloid element added Fe-Ni based amorphous alloy with the annealing temperature,precipitation (Fe,Ni) magnetic phase,three kinds of combinations of metalloid elements in the system are to bear the role of amorphous phase formed by horizontal comparison of three metalloid element found starting on the soft magnetic properties with different effects. Three kinds of metalloid elements to add,can improve the system of glass forming ability,the content of any two elements are within a certain range can be prepared as amorphous alloy content of elements and atomic radius,any two metalloid elements fill system,the atomic radius smaller than the total element content of the elements of atomic radii.Saturation magnetization has a relationship with the density of the element with the group,the smaller the group element density,the higher the saturation magnetization. Annealed samples of soft magnetic properties of the three systems are increasing at first and then decrease,which occurred during annealing the microstructure change. |
