Epoxy coatings, which have been widely used in fields of coatings, have excellent anti-corrosive performance. Now the development of anti-corrosive epoxy coatings direct to environmental protection and energy saving, in which solvent-free anti-corrosive epoxy coating play an important role. The preparation of solvent-free anti-corrosive epoxy coatings and flame retardant anti-corrosive epoxy coatings used low viscosity resin and curing agents. Solvent-free anti-corrosive epoxy coatings and double layers flame retardant anti-corrosion epoxy coatings were studied by electrochemical impedance spectrum(EIS). Key works as below:For the preparation of solvent-free anti-corrosive epoxy coatings, the component ratio of epoxy coatings has been optimized by using four factors-four levels orthogonal experiment. The four factors are curing agent, zinc, micaceous iron oxide and zinc phosphate. The anti-corrosive performance of component ratio-optimized coatings as primer was researched by electrochemical impedance spectrum and equivalent circuit was simulated. Research shows that component ratio-optimized coatings has excellent anti-corrosive performance, and curing agent is the main factor which impacts anti-corrosive performance of coatings.As nano-silica has high surface energy and large specific surface area, and easily leads to reunite in the coatings, it has been dispersed in the solution of curing agent, silane coupling agent and mixture of the two formers respectively by ultrasonic wave. During the preparation of nano--silica epoxy coatings, a components ratio which makes coatings better dispersion and anti-corrosive was chosen as base for synthesizing flame retardant anti-corrosive epoxy coatings. The coatings have best dispersion efficiency and anti-corrosive performance when the nano-silica is dispersed at curing agent by ultrasonic wave. Nano SiO2 significantly improve the impact resistance and heat aging properties of epoxy coatings..Preparation of solvent-free anti-corrosive and flame retardant epoxy coatings, the component ratio of solvent-free anti-corrosion and flame retardant epoxy coatings has been optimized by using three factors-three levels orthogonal experiment. The three factors are magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide and micaceous iron oxide. Wiht testing the anti-corrosive performance and oxygen index of coatings, a component which made coatings better oxygen index and anti-corrosive performance has been chosen as top coatings. The result indicates that magnesium hydroxide is the main factor which impacts oxygen index and corrosion resistance of coatings.Solvent-free anti-corrosive and flame retardant epoxy coatings with double layers have been prepared. Then their anti-corrosive performance was researched by EIS and equivalent circuit in corrosive medium was simulated. The result expresses that double layers coatings have excellent anti-corrosive performance.
