| Fluoride, one kind of hazardous matter with stronger toxicity, is harmful to the plant, livestock and human body. There are many electrolysis aluminum factories in China with different scales. They are emitting much fluoride into the atmospheric environment every day, resulting in the environmental pollution. Therefore, it is very important to carry out the studies on pollution characteristics of fluoride.This study was carried out on the pollution characteristics of certain electrolysis aluminum factory in the Baotou city. Firstly, combining the pollution source investigation with the meteorological condition (such as wind direction, atmospheric stability, and so on), the study found out the relationship between fluoride emissions and environmental quality; and then according to the environmental quality standards, laid out the indexs of emission source for the factory; at last, advanced the corresponding scientific and reasonable reduction countermeasures in order to prevent the environment and human health from the pollution harm.The results are described as follows:(1) The fluoride emission from this factory is the main reason leading to high monitoring results of the area.(2) The fugitive emission of the skylight is serious, around 78% of the total emission, which directly reaults in monitoring results going far beyond the standard level nearby the factory.(3) It indicates that, the content of fluoride is lower clearly in control point than other points; the nearer to the factory is, the higher the fluoride content is, it also takes on the rule of gradient change.(4) The results show that the factory has little influenec on the aquatic environment all around.(5) The forecast results of fluoride indicate that the influence of non-point source pollution is larger than point source pollution; the long-term concentration forecast results are corresponding to actual monitoring results of the static state monitoring points.(6) Continue to strengthen the supervision of the environmental protection, make the factory to reduce the fugitive emission through various measures, and make the environmental quality and fluoride emission meet the corresponding national and local standards around the factory.(7) Pay attention to the potentiall risk to the human body and environment at the time of the accident, although the concentration of the fluoride hasn't constituted a threat to the human health around the factory. |
