Currently, the technological design and parameter selection in accessory spinning are mainly dependent on empirical equation or practical experience of the operator. Whether the technological design and parameter selection are reasonable or not directly influences the forming result of the accessories. Therefore, it is of great importance to study 3D Digital Design and management system. This system integrates the technologies of Database, CAD, and Neural Network organically, realizes Mixed Programming with Multi-language, interactive and call under unified interface, and successfully develops an integrated computer software system which unifies the functions of technological management, CAD and intellectual design. In addition, by virtue of three-dimension parametric technology, it achieves three dimension outputs of the designing results, and computer automatic generation of the 3-D geometrical models such as spinning products, blank, spinning roller and mandrel. In all, this system can design spinning technology comprehensively and accurately, reduce development cycle of new products, increase productivity, and reduce production costs.
