At the present a lot of antibiotics are used in clinical as well as breeding industry for protecting and treating diseases. They are also used for promoting animal growth and increasing feed efficiency in breeding industry. The abuse of antibiotics can lead to antibiotics pollution in the environment. Animal manure which isn't treated applied to agricultural land and may cause antibiotics pollution in the soil and do harmful to agricultural products. This article researched sulfonamide antibiotics pollution characteristics in the vegetables from various sources and the research has important significance to antibiotics pollution control and crop production safety. The main conclusions were as follows:(1) An optimization analysis for the simulaneous determination of eight sulfonamides in vegetable is simultaneous determination of eight sulfonamide antibiotics in vegetables using solid phase extraction and high performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The quantitative limit of method was 0.2μg/kg for SM2 and 0.1μgg/kg for the other seven sulfonamides.Recoveries tested by standard addition method were in the range of 67.45~91.01%, RSDs were in the range of 1.07~14.00% at a spiking level from 5μg/kg to 100μg/kg(n=4).(2) This method was applied to analysis eight sulfonamides (Sulfadiazine, Sulfpyride, Sulfamethazine, Sulfathiazole, Sulfamerazine, Sulfameter, Sulfamethoxazole and Sulfadimethoxine) in vegetables from supermarket in guangzhou and vegetable fields of Pearl River Delta. Eight sulfonamides were found with different degree in vegetables. SM2 has the highest indentified rate (75.00%) and the highest average content (125.78ng/kg). The content of eight sulfonamides in vegetables from the same vegetable varieties and different sources was different. The content of eight sulfonamides in vegetables from the same sources and different security level was different.(3) The total content of eight sulfonamides in vegetable from supermarket was in the range of ND~18.88μg/kg., and 37.74 percent of the vegetables with its total content of eight sulfonamides were in the range of ND~0.50μg/kg. The order of total content by eight sulfonamides (μg/kg) in various vegetables was:melon and fruit vegertables> rhizome vegetable> leafy vegetables. The order of total content by eight sulfonamides (μg/kg) in vegetables from different security level was:green vegetables> ordinary vegetables> environment-friendly vegetables> organic vegetables. (4) The order of total content by eight sulfonamides (μg/kg) in vegetables from different security level vegetable fields was:vegetable polt besides the pig farm>harmless vegetable production area> ordinary vegetable production area> organic vegetable production area.(5) Reference to the animal food safety evaluation, we acquired with vegetable food safety evaluation method. This method was applied to evaluate vegetable safty. The results showed that only two vegetable varieties sample from the vegetable polt besides the pig farm exceeded the standard. The potential danger of the sulfonamides pollution in begetables was uonnegligible.
