Pretreatment technology plays an important part in analysis of drag and food, it direct effect on the accuracy of the result. Liquid phase microextraction(LPME)is developed as a novel solvent-minimized pretreatment technique. This novel technique overcomes a few disadvantages of conventional sample reparation techniques, such as time-consuming, labor-intensive and requiring large amounts of toxic organic solvents which may result in secondary environmental pollution. The LPME which is a simple, cheap, sensitive and environmental friendly sample preparation technique combines extraction, concentration and sample introduction in a single step. At present, the LPME technique has been widely applied in various fields, such as environment, biology and food etc.After ten years development, several different models of LPME have been developed. Single Drop Microextraction (SDME), Hollow Fiber Liquid Phase Microextraction (LPME-HF) and Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) were regarded as new development of SDME. The DLLME is the classical method for pesticide extraction and preconcentration. They have wide range of application prospects. However, there are few relevant reports about these method used in foods and drugs in our country. This thesis made systematic research in the foods and drugs with these method as follows:(1) The recent progress of several sample pretreatment methods are reviewed.(2) Determination of preservatives and antioxidants in food by liquid-phase Microextraction with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.(3) Hollow-fibre liquid-phase microextraction in the determination of preservatives and antioxidants in foods by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(4) Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction in the determination of preservatives and antioxidants in drugs by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry...
