Xixi is located in Hangzhou,it is valuable wetlands in the city, and well known for "three west" with west lake,west cold since rich in ecological resources and pristine natural landscape, deeply rooted culture. Xixi's beauty lies in water, lies in streams, reed, willow, fish, persimmon, bamboo, Ling posed by the unique Jiangnan garden style.This paper Studied Xixi region of Hangzhou in the historical period, the scale of Xixi in history is very large and experienced many stages of Landscape evolution. Xixi area was a mountain valley, the volume switch to insects became transgressive estuary, followed by recapitulation into a huge inland lake. Xixi region become into a wetland is from the beginning of turned into lakes, today's Xixi Wetland is a small part of xixi wetland in the history, the other part of xixi evolved into terrestrial, freshwater lakes, swamps, rice fields, aquaculture and other water. Landscape evolution of Xixi is a evolution history of the relationship among human land and water. From Xixi's birth, development, reduction,reveal the close links and interaction between human and ecological environment. through the analysis of the evolution of xixi region it is not difficult to find some characteristics of the evolution of the landscape in Xixi region. the main driving force to promote the evolution of xixi is different in different periods, based mainly on the natural role in early part, but the role of the latter parties is mainly on the human-oriented, while in the medium-term of evolution, the role of natural and man-made is almost the same.
