This paper has studied the adsorption of metal impurity ions in gold mineral recycling water with ion-exchange resins. The metal impurity ions accumulates in the production of a gold concentrator in Jiaodong, reducing the efficiency of mineral production. Using ion-exchange to remove mineral impurity ions can improve the the quality of circulating water and the efficiency of mineral production, which has great significance in mineral production. The macroporous ion-exchange resins is used in this study of adsorption. The water used in experiment is from the process of the production of the gold mine in Jiaodong, which contains the ions of Fe3+, which has the highest contest of 1704 mg/L; The content of Zn2+, Cu2+and Pb2+is 300-580 mg/L.Because the gold mineral recycling water has a high content of four metallic ions and the content of Fe3+is much more higher than the other three ones, the study of this paper is as follows:1. Static adsorption experiment:The conditions of the ion-exchange resins are determined, including the pH, temperature, and adsorption capacity. The best ion-exchange resin and its amount of usage are determined in the experiment.2. Dynamic adsorption experiment:The dynamic adsorption conditions are determined in this experiment, mainly the affect of velocity and flow.3. Desorption and regeneration:The HCl concentration use in the resin's resolution and the resin's resolution rate are determined. The static adsorption experiment for the regeneration of the resin is done to determine whether the ion-exchange resin can be reused.4. The adsorption isotherm of D418 ion-exchange resin's adsorption for the four metal impurity ions is studied to determine its adsorption capacity.Through the ion-exchange treatment, the concentration of the metal impurity ions in the gold mineral recycling water greatly reduces. The removal rate of Fe3+is up to 87.9%, and the removal rate of Zn2+, Cu2+and Pb2+is 97.1%,96.3%and 96.2%. The experiment method is simple, the resin can be recycled, and the result of treatment is good. This method has a good prospect.
