Membrane absorption technology is a novel separation technology that combines membrane separation technology and traditional gas absorption technology. This novel technology make use of hydrophobic porous membrane to ensure the gas and liquid phase flowing on the opposite side of the membrane, gas and liquid phase flow rates can be manipulated independently. So membrane absorption technology can avoid the problems like flooding, foaming and entrainment. Membrane absorption process has the following advantages:larger mass transfer area per volume, higher mass transfer rate. Compared with the conventional absorption process in column type devices, there are advantages of low cost, simple operation, easy-to-industrial applications and so on.Membrane absorption experiments were carried out in a flat-membrane contactor with six different membranes. CO2/H2O CO2/MEA, CO2/DEA and C02/NaOH solutions were chosen as experimental system. The influence of porosity on the mass transfer coefficient was investigated. For unsteady-state membrane absorption process, In a certain solid concentration, as speed of membrane contactor increases, the mass transfer coefficient of the membrane absorption process increased, and subsequently reduce the enhancement factor of the particles; With the solid particle density increases, the mass transfer coefficient of membrane absorption process decreases, while the enhancing effect of solid particles increases with the speed decline; the mass transfer coefficient and enhancement factor of 0.lmol/L MEA should be greater than the 0.1mol/L NaOH and DEA; With the increase in membrane porosity, mass transfer factor of membrane absorption process increased, the enhancing effect of particles decreased, on the other hand, with the solid concentration increase the porosity of the difference in the membrane absorption process decreases. For steady-state membrane absorption process, with the solid concentration increase the mass transfer coefficient and enhancement factor in the membrane absorption process of grows, when the solid concentration continued to increase after a certain range, mass transfer coefficient and enhancement factor decreased slightly; at a fixed solid concentration, with the absorbent flow increases the mass transfer coefficient of the membrane absorption process increases the enhancement factor decreases; With the increase in pH of absorbent, the mass transfer coefficient and the enhancement factor of membrane absorption process increase. When N2:CO2(5:1)/H2O solution was chosen as experimental system, the mass transfer coefficient of membrane absorption process decreases.
