Compounds bearing pyrimidne ring and ninhydrin-like ring are increasingly common in the field of medicine chemistry. These kinds of derivatives usually have anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-cancer, health care and other very good activity. We researched in the field of these kinds of compounds and got a series of interesting experimental results:1. 2,4-dihydroxy-6-amino-pyrimidine and malononitrile reacted with aromatic aldehyde in one-pot to obtain a series of substituted pyrimidine compounds under room temperature or by heating. We tried to explore the reaction mechanism and the reasons of aromatization, All the products were characterized by IR and NMR, crystal X-diffraction was also used to characterize one product.2. Studies on the synthesis and the mechanism of by-pyrimidine cyclic compounds catalized by Lewis acid from di(6-aminouracil-5-yl)-arylmethane. Different aromatic amines and Lewis acid were screened in the reaction. We found that aniline and boron trifluoride were the best co-catalyst in this reaction. The reaction conditions were mild, simple and convenient, the yield was greatly improved to the reported method. The reaction mechanism was also discussed. All the products were characterized by IR and NMR. Crystal X-diffraction was also used to characterize one product. 3. Acid-catalyzed ninhydrin and contains active methylene ketones or phenolic compounds synthesized fused heterocyclic compounds. controlling the reaction conditions, Screening of suitable active methylene ketones and phenols to enhance the feasibility of reaction, And discuss the possibility of synthesis of heterocyclicspirans. All the products were characterized by IR and NMR. Crystal X-diffraction was also used to determ one compound.4. Spiro compounds were synthesized from ninhydrin and substituents chalcone by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction. We used a variety of different substituents chalcone as reactants, One stable intermediate was obtained and characterized by crystal X-diffraction.
