Study On Causes And Control Countermeasure For Water Pollution Of Shitoukoumen Reservoir In Changchun

The polluted factors of Shitoukoumen reservoir basin was investigated. According to the water quality monitoring and evaluation results of 2005 to 2008 each month, Shitoukoumen reservoir dam and mid-stream can not meet the GB3838-2002《Surface Water Environmental Quality Standards》of Class II functional criteria requirements, namely, standard of drinking water source. The main pollutants that exceeding the standard were permanganate index,total nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus. However, all evaluation factors have reached the GB3838-2002《Surface Water Environmental Quality Standards》of ClassⅢwater standards, and the water quality was well.The environmental capacity of major pollutants such as total phosphorus and total nitrogen of Shitoukoumen reservoir was calculated , in which units of environmental capacity of total phosphorus is 19.1t/a and total nitrogen is 382.0t/a.On the basis of pollution control projects of Shitoukoumen reservoir water source,this article puts forward advices. Main recommendations include: to abolish the 200 tube-wells to be arranged and the irrigation of the reed through groundwater pumping of the wetlands project; The Administration of Shitoukoumen water sources should take a review and revision on water reserve districts, taking measures to cure the pollution in the second level and preparative protected area actively. In addition,this article puts forward the suggestions about environmental management. Garbage pile should be fixed and we should provide some dustbins and build some outdoor toilets to residents of the basin .
