Study On The CFAST Simulation And Safety Evacuation In The Building Fire

In human's history, fire not only has been one of the major disasters to people's lives and property, but also badly affected economic developent and social stabilization. Because of the characteristics of large personal density and heavy fire load in the building, once fire taking place, there will cause the enormous losses of the property, a large amount of injuries and deaths of personnel's.Thus, building fire has became a great subject which is paid close attention to all over the world.Recently, with the development of computer technology, the fire numerical simulation and fire safety evacuation study developed rapidly. The fire numerical simulation not only provides us with the visual data about heat transmission and smoke transmission, the most important is to provide more rapid, accurate experimental data for fire risk analysis;The study of fire safety evacuation can provide a more accurate forecasts of the required evacuation time, and become a favorable analytical tool for building fire safety research.The paper first studies the process of the building fire development, the hot release rate (HRR), the fire smoke and five kinds of commonly used fire models. On this basis, taking a college dormitory fire as the research object, Through the establishment of zone model CFAST, Set three typical fire scenario,study the relevant region of temperature, layer height and smoke components change with time. and use Excel software for analysis of the simulation results,then get the Available Safety Egress Time(ASET).through the analysis of evacuation theoretical model,and use the Japanese empirical formula to calculate the safety egress time,that obtained the Required Safety Egress Time(RSET).at last, according to the safety evacuation norm,with the fire-risk time and evacuation time acquired, the building fire safety has been analyzed and discussed.There is an important reference value for studying the characteristics of building fire,fire safety analysis and safety evacuation in the fire in this paper.
