This paper studied the key technical problems encountered in the construction process of pipeline laying in the Bohai sea area of zhuanghai 4X1 and South Fort 1-3, such as construction project, towing pipeline method and floatation problem of the buried pipeline, and then feasible construction project for laying pipeline in the Bohai sea area of South Fort 1-3 was put forward. This paper has an very important meaning to improve operational efficiency and reduce the accident probability in the construction process.The important part of the construction process of laying pipeline is transporting the pipeline to certain sea area. During the process of transportation, the pipeline is affected by wind, wave and ocean current. So it is important for the safety of the pipeline and reduction of transportation cost to calculate the environment loads imposed on the pipeline, to analyze the structural strength and determine reasonable tow methods.In this paper, some pipeline-laying methods used at home and abroad are summarized. For pipeline laying construction in the Bohai sea area of South Fort 1-3, appropriate prefabricated venue was selected to conduct the pipe-welding and pipe-launching. Both the environment loads wind, waves and current and the resistance force in the process of floating towing method was calculated. Suitable tugs were chosen and the process of pipeline-towing was implemented successfully. Results of pipeline laying construction achieved the intended goal of the project, which show that the calculation and analysis methods are completely correct.Taking the pipelinefloatation problem in the Bohai beach area of zhuanghai 4X1 as an example, curative measures for floatation problem of the pipeline was studied in this paper. The loads values, distribution along pipeline were defined reasonably. Using the FEA method, deformation and stress of pipeline in different phases were calculated to make sure that pipeline was pressed into the appropriate depth safely. The technical measures for dealing with pipeline floatation problem proposed in this paper has instructive meaning for solving pipeline floatation problem in beach area.
