Along with the application of infrared thermal imager in military and civilian area more widely, people require for a much higher demand for its measurement method and accuracy. Therefore, to discuss the influencing factors of infrared temperature measurment accuracy, the methods of reducing measure error are of great theoretical and practical significance. However, in this dissertation, the factors that affect the infrared temperature measurment accuracy and the methods that used in reducing measure error are studied, in addition, the research results will have application in measuring (surface) in the process of high-speed turning.Starting from the discussion about the factors , this paper firstly analyses the theoratical foundation of infrared temperature measurement as to get the principal factors of influencing the measurement accuracy when detecting temperature with infrared thermal imager. Through various experiments conditions, then the measurement precision is compared (when swithing experimental conditions) and the affection factors are measured quantitatively by the above compare. Finally, an experimental method that avoids the interference of outside on the measurement precision with infrared thermal imager can be summarized.The tools in high-speed turning are calibrated under the simulated machining conditions, the effect degree of atmosphere, background.etc on the calibration can also be described. According to the above research results, establish the corresponding manufacturing condition to ensure the precise measurement on tools'temperature distribution in process.The major conclusion we can draw is that detecting an object with small field scale and high emissivity while using infrared thermal imager can significantly minimise the affections, as extraneous thermal effect. The metal emissivity in natural environment is influenced by its temperature and the average emissivity of the surroundings. The tools'temperature distribution can be obtained by infrared radiation temperature measuring. Moreover, the tools and chips'temperature distribution in various cutting parameters have different traits.Discussing the measurement accuracy of the thermal infrared imager in different situation, demarcating YT15 cutting tools in turning precisely, analyzing the factors influencing the emissivity of high reflection surface, are the innovative works of this paper.
