Qilu region is located in the lower reaches of Yellow River, this region has a long history and very abundant natural resources, fertile land, strong agricultural base, excellent human environment, catering culture, and therefore the accumulation of solid, diverse content. Since the Qin Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, the lower reaches of the Yellow River is the developed one of the economic and cultural areas all over country. Its well-developed economic and cultural exchanges, not only in the region, but also its influence reaches Beijing and Tianjin in north China, nomadic areas in North, northwest, it reaches the middle reaches of the Yellow River, it also reaches the south. Instead, the regions'economics and culture is bound to the Yellow River downstream economic and cultural impact. Whereas, the culture of these regions also influenced The development of multi-trend in the Yellow River downstream region.As an important part in Chinese diet cuture, Qilu regional diet culture can not be ignored in the study of Qilu aspects of dietary customs and culture. When it comes to diet,all people believe that diet is the key factor in life and diet play an important role in the development of humanity. In the same way,diet make an great function in the development process of Qilu region.In this paper, food produce and diet life and related cultural phenomena, on the field of culture in the area of food supplements. Diet culture as an important part of material culture, The system also involves the field of institutional culture and spiritual culture, Content can be learned from the history of the development of a region, covers all aspects of production and life of the people in the region.Qilu region diet cuture is mainly reflected in the life style, diet pattern, diet utensils, local diet flavor, dietary customs and ideas, development and evolution of diet equipment, diet cultural exchange, wine culture, tea culture,and so on. Not only dose it hasthe north Yellow River common diet culture of the times, but also it has a regional cultural identity. The paper will dicuss the specil culture phenomenon by six chapters as following. The first chapter about Qilu regional living environment. The Yellow River downstream region for its unique natural and geographical environment, as the people of ancient Qilu expansion of subsistence living space and access to the party fertile fields. The long and splendid prehistoric civilization, bright Qilu culture, created a Qilu food culture style. Regional diet culture and the exchange also contributed to the formation of a diverse diet culture characteristic of Shandong.Chapter two for obtaining raw materials for food, processing and storage.
