Study On New Chinese Style Furniture Design Based On Qilu Culture

The main purpose of this study is to explore the application of Qilu Culture in new Chinese furniture design,and to shape brand characteristics.In addition,this application initiates and promotes the construction of more colourful and distinctive new Chinese furniture brands,which will change the stereotyped and chaotic design atmosphere of current Chinese furniture.The study of this paper mainly consists of six chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background from the origin and development,and makes a detailed plan from both research significance and method.Chapter 2 starts introducing this research.It analyses deeply both Qilu culture and the new Chinese furniture respectively,which ensures that the characteristics of both are understood comprehensively and thoroughly before their combination.How to apply Qilu culture to the new Chinese furniture design in a better way is demonstrated from design principles,design methods and design development proposals in Chapter 3-5 respectively.Chapter 6 studies existing design cases.In this chapter,characteristics of Qilu culture-based new Chinese furniture design features are analysed,which demonstrates how the Qilu culture is applied to the new Chinese furniture design and verifies the significance and meaning of Qilu culture on the shaping of new Chinese furniture brand characteristics.In summary,in this thesis,the theoretical basis is comprehensively studied.Scientific research methods are utilized to illustrate the methodology to incorporate Qilu culture into the new Chinese furniture design,which achieves an exploratory theoretical guide for building a new furniture brand filled with Qilu cultural characteristics.
