This thesis work was used fluorescent naphthalene anhydride, anthracene to synthesis new fluorescent materials, respectively, and the water content of organic solvents, metal ions were determined. Investigate its performance through experiments and to study the chemistry of various probe points in the application environment:(1)A new fluorescence dye, N-amino-4-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-1,8-naphthalimide (AHN), based on 4-bromo-1, 8-naphthalic anhydride was synthesized as a fluorescence probe for determining water content in organic solvents. Changing from a non-polar to a polar solvent increases the solvent interaction with excitation spectrum and emission spectrum shifts to longer wavelengths. The fluorescence intensity of the probe decreased with the increasing concentration of water. The linear equations for dioxane, acetonitrile and ethanol were obtained with excellent relativity In the range of 0.00-4.00%(v/v), the AHN fluorescence intensity changed as a linear function of water content. The detection limits were 0.019,0.038, and 0.060% for dioxane, acetonitrile and ethanol, respectively. (2)A new fluorescence dye, N-ethyol-4-(2-ethylamineamino)-1,8-naphthalimide(EEN), based on 4-ethyol-1,8-naphthalic anhydride was synthesized as a fluorescence probe for determining water content in organic solvents. Changing from a non-polar to a polar solvent increases the solvent interaction with excitation spectrum and emission spectrum shifts to longer wavelengths. The fluorescence intensity of the probe decreased with the increasing concentration of water. In the range of 0.00-4.00% (v/v), the linear equations was I=-74.03 [H2O]+808.31(R=0.9989) and the EEN fluorescence intensity changed as a linear function of water content. The detection limits were 0.040% for dioxane. The prepared probe was successfully employed for preliminary application in determining water content in organic solvents. (3)An anthracene Schiff base derivative,1, 7-bis(9-anthraldehyde)-diethylenetriamine(BADT), behaves as an ion-selective fluorescence probe for the determination of Cu(II) or Hg(II) in aqueous medium was reported. TThe probe exhibited linear responses for Cu(II) and Hg(II) over concentration ranges of 4.00×10-6-1.00×10-5 mol L"1 and 2.00×10-6-8.00×10-6mol L-1. The detection limit could be as low as 3.70×10-7 mol L-1 for Cu(II) and 6.80×10-7 mol L-1 for Hg(II). The prepared probe was successfully employed for preliminary application in real samples.
