In this paper, flexible polyurethane foam as the carrier, for the phenol in agricultural drainage and industrial wastewater, the activated carbon adsorption and flexible polyurethane foam of porous immobilized combined by entrapment immobilization technology, development powder activated carbon embedded in flexible polyurethane foam, which enable remove efficiently the phenol in the water, eliminate the effect caused by the existence of large amounts of tine-grained sediment, suspended material and humic substances on the effect of adsorbent can be a long time and repeated use of cleaning material. At the same time the release of the toxic cleaning materials, mechanical strength, mass transfer, the degradation efficiency, renewable methods to explore the most suitable conditions.First, a new adsorbent of powder activated carbon embedded in flexible polyurethane foam by box foam technology were prepare, determine the foam formula, the adsorbent densities were 25kg/m3,30kg/m3,35kg/m3,40kg/m3, and its Comparison of the adsorption. Ultimately determine the embedded powder activated carbon 50mg, density 40kg/m3 of flexible polyurethane foam as sorbent for analysis.Second, the adsorption experiments of powdered activated carbon, Pu-Ac adsorbent and flexible polyurethane foam on phenol. The effects of the equilibrium adsorption time, PH value initial concentration of phenol the temperature, the tine-grained sediment, humic acids and other factors in the river were investigated. The equilibrium parameters and conduct equilibrium analysis and the adsorption isotherm were discussed. Meanwhile, the regenerated adsorbent for phenol adsorption experiments to study regeneration method, regeneration times of the Pu-Ac adsorbents of phenol.Powdered activated carbon, Pu-Ac adsorbent and flexible polyurethane foam monomer at room temperature, flexible polyurethane foam monomer removal of phenol 1%-3%, and basically there is no adsorption. Powdered activated carbon and Pu-Ac adsorbent with 25 mg/L phenol solution to determine when the equilibrium adsorption time was 4h and 12h.When the pH value in the range of 6 to 7, the solution of weak acidity, Pu-Ac adsorbent for phenol removal rate was 83%, it reaches the maximum.adsorption capacity of Pu-Ac adsorbent on phenol increases with initial concentration of phenol increased gradually, and a linear relationship. Temperature on the adsorption removal efficiency significantly, adsorption capacity of Pu-Ac adsorbent on phenol increases with temperature increased gradually, removal rate of adsorption declined.In the mixed solution of phenol and humic acid, powdered activated carbon for the more adsorption of humic acid reduced the adsorption capacity, the Pu-Ac adsorbent playing better adsorption, while less adsorption of humic acid in water. When the water contains tine-grained sediment within the 0.1-10kg/m3, the adsorption on phenol has little effect.Langmiur adsorption isotherm can be well described Pu-Ac adsorbent to phenol adsorption, saturated adsorption of 217.39 mg/g. The Pu-Ac adsorbent regeneration NaOH alkali solution,and the regeneration frequency of the mechanical strength of flexible polyurethane foam little effect, the Pu-Ac adsorbent regenerated adsorption of phenol removal rate kept at around 70%, can be reused.
