High-speed CNC machine tools is to achieve an important guarantee of metal cutting is the basis of the equipment manufacturing industry, manufacturing industry for measuring the level of a country's flag. High speed CNC machine tool spindle unit is the key component is the machine tool technology development.In this paper, grinding spindle, represented by class, about the axis of the system structure, spindle motor and spindle is not simply the combination, it should be a system, which should also include lubricating devices, drainage devices and cooling devices section. Therefore, in the design and analysis of spindle, the system point of view should be considered part of the spindle system linkages, which are interrelated and influence each other entity.Then analyzed the thermal characteristics of ceramic bearings and spindle dynamics of the system to modal analysis and harmonic response analysis as a representative of dynamic analysis. Ceramic bearing preload them again on the spindle system stiffness as a top priority. This article, from the perspective of theoretical analysis and design to explore the spindle unit.The finite element software as the basis, of the grinding spindle class work in the actual working conditions, the true representation of the affected spindle unit thermal characteristics of the dynamic characteristics and main factors: the spindle in the ultra-high speed operation, the motor and bearings produce large amounts of heat can not be ruled out promptly and effectively, causing thermal deformation of spindle, spindle structure, the change will affect the size of the stiffness of the spindle, and spindle system stiffness has the relevant modes, that affect the critical speed spindle.Cutting tool parts, if the speed is greater than the critical speed, the tool will not be processed qualified parts, otherwise, the spindle will run smoothly, to ensure the workpiece surface roughness. Therefore, dynamic characteristics and should combine the establishment of thermal characteristics of heat - dynamic model, this analysis will be more realistic.
